About the project: “Encounter” is an international network of night quests with 1 million players. The site has not been updated for 22 years, so the owner announced a redesign competition. This navigation site has lots of design limitations due to the features of the engine and the huge number of domains. It was necessary to keep the green color scheme — it is recognizable and does not heart eyes. The problems of the old site: Confusing complicated navigation, no bread crumbs, Complex multi-level menu, vanishing page to page, The search is hidden in the depths of the menu, No info about the topic of the site on the main page, A huge amount of unstructured information. Modified UX, added bread crumbs. The sollution: Moved the menu to the empty left sidebar, Moved the search to the header, Designed the first screen, Structured texts, simplified tables, Added filtering to the game calendar.
